Williams applying to NCAA for reinstatement at USC
Wide receiver Mike Williams will apply to the NCAA for reinstatement, his agent said Wednesday. Williams had his career at Southern California thrown into limbo following a court ruling last month that blocked him from entering the NFL draft. The players’ agent, Mike Azzarelli, said he is working to get the All-American back into college. He also said he is currently not planning to sue the NFL on Williams’ behalf. And on another eligibility issue Wednesday, Colorado’s Bloom is planning to force his eligibility case with the NCAA.
